1. Ambiance – Warm, Lively, and Full of Character
Upon entering, you’re greeted by a quirky décor that’s as inviting as it is intriguing. The walls are adorned with bookshelves, photographs, paintings, and other eye-catching decor that truly bring this café to life.
The furniture is mostly wooden, with splashes of colour from bright metal chairs. For larger groups, there are spacious tables that make it easy to settle in with friends and family.

During our visit, I noticed the owner making rounds to ensure guests are attended—a nice personal touch that doesn’t go unnoticed.
Overall, the service was good, and there’s always room for improvement.
3. Menu Variety – A Continental Dream
The Hole in the Wall Café has an extensive menu that offers something for everyone, with a focus on breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They serve up an array of continental treats like burgers, pasta, sandwiches, waffles, and pancakes.
It’s a lot to take in—there are over 100 items on the menu (I didn’t count) —so if you’re overwhelmed, just ask about the chef’s specials (I forgot to do this on my visit).
Full Monty American Breakfast - The Hole in the Wall, Bengaluru |
For our meal, we ordered the “Full Monty American Breakfast” with pork bacon (priced at ₹365) and a side of pork sausage (₹140).
My daughter loves pancakes, and this set came with two large pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon, though the brown bread and butter were accidentally left out (they forgot to serve).
The pork bacon, however, was an absolute delight with its salty, smoky Flavor that’s not easy to find in typical Bengaluru cafés.
4. Food Quality – Delicious, Fresh, and Filling
The dishes at The Hole in the Wall Café are served with simple, thoughtful presentation. The Full Monty American Breakfast was the highlight of our order, featuring fluffy scrambled eggs and richly flavoured pork bacon. The portions were generous, especially the pancakes, which left us fully satisfied. We also enjoyed the pork sausage—though a bit firmer than expected, it was filling and delicious.
The standout flavours? Definitely the smoky, savoury notes of the bacon, which complemented the other elements of the breakfast. If you’re a fan of pork, this café has several options worth trying!
5. Value for Money – Fair Pricing for a Great Experience
With ample portion sizes and quality food, the prices felt fair and in line with what you’d expect at a popular café in Bengaluru. For the experience, service, and delicious offerings, the pricing seems just right.

One of the standout aspects here was the cleanliness. The staff promptly clean tables as guests leave, and the floors are well-maintained. The dining area is inviting, making it a comfortable space to spend time with family and friends.
